The Interview

Where were you born and why did you move to Secunda?

I was born in Bloemfontein and when I was about +-3 years old, my parents moved to Secunda (Trichardt).

Describe yourself in one sentence:

I am “Happy go lucky” and MUST always smile!

What was your most embarrassing moment?

I can’t really think of one…

Without this you will be lost:

Toothpaste, family, friends, bible, Clothes! Shoes! Handbags!

What item do you use the most in one day?

My mouth!

Name five people that you would like to invite to dinner?

My family – I enjoy talking to them and we always have good times together and then I would also invite Naomi Campbell

If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be and why?

Naomi Campbell – I just want to know how she did it! I mean she is the prefect model, her walk and everything, I want to know how she did it.

How do you feel about LIFE?

It’s leka! And the best thing that you can get. Life is what you make of it…it is like a song, sometimes you catch the wrong note, but then you just breathe in, make the best of it and carry on.

What is your biggest dream?

To be successful in what I do and my work and to meet as many famous people as possible. I know it might not be possible to meet all of them so I will settle for as many as possible.

What is your greatest accomplishment in life so far?

I feel that everything that I have ever done and finished was great accomplishments.

How did you do it?

With the help of people…tannie Alet, my mother and everyone that gave a helping hand and support. People play a massive role in my life…and I like to always have someone around.

Tell us about your modeling career, where did it all start?

My mom wrote me in for a competition when I as in Gr 2. I’ve been doing modeling for 11 years now and every year it gets more and more serious.

Where to from here (Future plans)

I don’t want to make modeling my main career. I am going to study fashion merchandising next year for three years and I will still be going on with modeling and look for more and more opportunities…

Where so you see yourself 5 years from now?

5 years from now I would have completed my studies and already have met lots and lots of people

What or who, was your inspiration for becoming the person that you are today?

My Mom and Dad

What would you like the people of Secunda to know about you?

Even though I may not know you, come and talk to me, anytime!

Do you have any advice for young people in Secunda to reach their dreams:

Decide on one thing and do it, don’t let anyone stop you!
